Enables the mechanical engineer to management and R&D positions in the manufacturing industry and related services, with a focus on both transversal and specialist skills required to address complex interdisciplinary problems.
The Programme has received the EUR-ACE accreditation (European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education www.enaee.eu) that provides a set of standards that identifies high-quality engineering degree programmes in Europe and abroad.
Programme structure
In the first year, there are compulsory course units, while in the second year there is a wide range of elective coure units (27 in total, 11 of which in English).
At the second year, the following specialisations are available:
- Machine Design and Structural Integrity
- Collaborative and Assistive Mechanical Systems
- Robotics and Automation
- Road Vehicles
- Propulsion Machines
- Energy Sustainability in Industry
- Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning
- Manufacturing Engineering and technology
- Operations Management
