Overview
Thanks to a multidisciplinary approach, this Master’s degree programme allows students to acquire full competence in environmental engineering, as well as in the prevention of natural or man-made hazards. In this regard, the programme provides both theoretical and practical skills for the design,
planning, remediation and monitoring of the biosphere following the impacts caused by urban and industrial activities.
Programme structure
The student can choose among three different study pahts:
- Curriculum Environment and Sustainability
- Curriculum Soil Protection and Water Management
- Curriculum Land Planning and Management
Career opportunities
Graduates can find employment in public administrations, private companies and private research centres working in the field of environmental protection and land management.
They may also work in engineering firms or as freelance consultants dealing with various environmental issues such as waste control and reuse, water and land management, environmental impact assessment, monitoring, modelling, risk management.
