Entry qualification

Bachelor diploma (or equivalent) A minimum three-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) is required, with proven skills in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, in investigating research techniques as well as the ability to apply research findings to real problems Additional entry requirements – Entry title and GPA Please verify country-based specific entry title and GPA requirements at the following link. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian. You can often get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. If you are admitted to the degree course, you will have to submit other documents including original and translated/legalised copies of your previous qualifications, etc. No legalised documents are required at application stage.

If submitting the TOEFL: a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or overall score of 80 on the Internet Based Test (IBT) with at least 20 on speaking and 20 on writing. If submitting the IELTS: a minimum overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0. Students who have received degrees from institutions in countries where English is the primary language usually are not required to submit the TOEFL (or IELTS) scores unless the degree was received more than two years prior to application to the Graduate School.

Overview

The Master’s degree provides advanced knowledge in the field of agricultural systems as well as skills to develop and manage sustainable production systems located in warm-temperate environments at a global level. The programme explores sustainability of production in all its implications, including both innovative technologies and socio-economic aspects.

2nd Year: Sustainable Management of Plant Diseases; Crop Physiology; Sustainable Livestock Systems; Sustainable Use of Pesticides; Sustainable Vineyard and Orchard Management; Water Resources Management; Sustainable Agriculture: Perspectives from Abroad; Urban Horticulture, and many other courses in different study plans.
