His/her interdisciplinary competences allow encompassing environmental problems in a uniform way, where each single component is related to the other ones. At the end of the educational cycle, the graduate can apply the scientific investigation method to different environmental components, and retrace the history of both past environments and human-nature relationships; can evaluate ecosystem structure, functionality, and evolution to restore and maintain natural balances; can efficiently operate in territory.
