Overview

Our graduates acquire good knowledge and good oral and written language skills in two foreign languages. They also earn good knowledge of the cultures and literatures related to the linguistic worlds they choose, and can use thoroughly-applied tools in their linguistic, philological and literary analyses. Furthermore, they have at least basic skills and knowledge in demographic, anthropological, sociological, economic, legal and widely cultural topics.
It is also possible to devise a study plan which includes a third foreign language and literature, using the optional credits available or adding further credits to the 180 legally required.
Our students can choose from the following linguistic and literary areas: Anglo-American, Czech and Slovakian, French, English, German, Modern Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese-Brazilian, Romanian, Russian, Serbian and Croatian, Slovenian, Spanish.

Career opportunities

Our graduates may find jobs in trading and language service companies, in cultural institutions and libraries, in publishing and journalism, in international organizations, in cultural tourism and communication agencies. They may also work in cultural and linguistic education in private institutions and companies. They will be able to continue their studies in Masters Courses and engage in public and private research.
